Road Site
The WorldGSM™ Road Site is designed to give operators fast, low-cost coverage along any road, generating new revenue from former "black spots". It's a free-standing tower, designed to be assembled in two days by untrained local workers.
The The 21-metre tower supports two antennas, two solar panels, backup power and the BlueBox™ 902 – a complete, 2 TRX BTS that draws just 125 watts (less than a light bulb).

Rural Site
The Rural Site is a 40-metre tower that supports up to three GSM antennas, VNL's Prism Transmission equipment, and up to three BlueBox™ BTS units.
Each WorldGSM™ Rural Site supports a cluster of up to 5 Village Sites – compact single-TRX Base Stations that are even easier to deploy.
WorldGSM™ is typically deployed as a cascade of stars. Each star has a Rural Site at its center, withVillage Sites deployed around it.
Village Site
The WorldGSM™ Village Site is an important part of the overall WorldGSM™ deployment strategy. While our Rural Site is a ground-based tower, the Village Site is designed for rooftop or ground deployment in villages.
The Village Site has a 6 or 9 metre pole with an Omni antenna on top, solar panels, batteries and the BlueBox™ BTS – a complete 1 or 2 TRX BTS. The entire Village Site only requires 50 watts to function.

Blue Box
The BlueBox™ is a complete BTS that can be entirely solar powered, requiring only 50 watts of power (depending on configuration). It bolts on to a WorldGSM™ Village Site or Rural Site and starts transmitting in minutes.
The BlueBox™ is designed to operate outdoors in harsh environments. There's no need for a shelter, air conditioning, grid power, generator or diesel fuel. And it can be installed and maintained by local workers. Fully-functional GSM has never been this simple.

GreenBox 160i
The WorldGSM™ GreenBox™ 160i is an engineering breakthrough: a complete standalone Base Station Controller in a compact box – easy to install at the periphery of any GSM network. A single GreenBox™ 160i supports up to 16 TRXs.
The GreenBox™ 160i features complete remote management. All operations & maintenance, including software updates, are performed through the WorldGSM™ Spectrum remote OMC. Once installed, no radio network expertise is needed on site.

OrangeBox MSC
The WorldGSM™ OrangeBox™ is an engineering breakthrough: a complete standalone Mobile Switching Center in a compact box – easy to install at the periphery of any GSM network. A single OrangeBox™ supports up to 5 GreenBox™ 160i BSC nodes, serving over 10,000 subscribers and 20,000 BHCA.
The OrangeBox™ features complete remote management. All operations & maintenance, including software updates, are performed through the WorldGSM™ Spectrum remote OMC. Once installed, no core network expertise is needed on site.
